Flicker Film Society
About
Founded in 2004, the Flicker Film Society is a group of talented, motivated students who produce original films from start to finish. Students interested in every aspect of filmmaking, including writing, acting, cinematography, editing, study, and more. Each semester we produce a short film with members participating in all stages of production.
Flicker also curates the annual Reel Teal Film Festival, which is open to filmmakers everywhere, and regularly hosts events and competitions for club members and non-members alike. We hold weekly meetings with member presentations, guest speakers, networking, project planning sessions, and more. Additionally, we hold separate meetings focused on more in-depth aspects of production on a week-to week timescale, creating short films and content to post on Youtube and various other platforms. We also hold weekly screenings of various shorts, features, and other media.
